TEDxYouth@Adelaide will be held on Saturday 19 November 2011 at RiAus’s Science Exchange. It is an extension of TEDxAdelaide, specifically focused on young people aged 12-26 and part of a global series of TEDx’scoinciding with Universal Children’s Day. We’ll be part of 100 TEDxYouth events around the world that weekend all asking the question:
What can you share with the world?
TEDxAdelaide will be hosting the TEDxYouth@Adelaide event at the Science Exchange from 2-6pm. The program will focus on the theme of sharing. You’ll view the following videos from TEDxAdelaide 2010:
- Jonathan Brown: Finding a Voice
- Edwin Kemp Atrill: Theatre as a Weapon for Social Change
- Sarah Strong-Law: Building Communities through Roller Derby
And these ones from the general pool of TED and TEDx talks from all over the globe:
- TEDGlobal 2011: Ben Goldacre: Battling Bad Science
- TED 2011: Sarah Kay: If I should have a daughter
- TEDxNYED 2010: Dan Meyer: Math needs a Curriculum Makeover
We’ll also feature talks from TEDxAdelaide 2011 and discussion sessions on the day – here is the program: TEDxYouth Program at RiAus v3
Tickets now available plus we’re looking for volunteers for hosting duties and to enrol as offical TEDxYouth Reporters. Contact us if you’re interested!
Note that the DIY option to run through the program at your own location using these videos is no longer available – TEDx events can only be livestreamed for sharing.
